Kimberly Alsup is a TV and Film Writer, Author and Content Creator. A Detroit native who currently
resides in Los Angeles.
Her writing style can be described as a mix between Freeform shows and Urban life. Social issues are her specialty and she digs deep into pregnancy, domestic violence and rape. But she also has a comedy side that can be described as Seinfeld meets The Office.
Kimberly has two degrees in Writing; a Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State
and a Masters from Full Sail.
Kimberly self-published two fiction novels Caught Up, Volumes 1 & 2 that are
available on Amazon and iTunes. She also has an IMDB writing credit for a
short domestic violence film, Wounds of Time. She has worked on several TV shows and Films in different roles.
When there were no writing rooms opportunities in Atlanta, Kimberly created an entertainment website, BLACC ATL where she interviewed celebrities on red carpets and reviewed Television shows/movies. Through this site, she created a name for herself in the Atlanta entertainment world and was a go to for
entertainment news. While it exposed Kimberly to a lot of opportunities and she networked with a lot of people, it wasn’t truly what she wanted to do. So,
her career advisor from Full Sail University urged her to relocate to LA to achieve her dreams. Once she arrived, she hit the ground running and has
been going ever since.
